Manual Machinist

D&D Sawmill Services is the leading manufacturer of sawmill manufacturing. We are looking to add a Machinist to our team to provide manual machine work and help enhance the productivity of our business! A qualified candidate would be someone who has previous experience with manual machines and someone who can effectively lead a project to its completion.

● Translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production

● Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects

● Adjust machine controls and operate the machine

● Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company

● Follow all company safety protocol and maintain a clean workstation

● Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift

CNC Machinist

We are looking to add a Machinist with both manual and CNC experience to our team to provide quality machine work and help enhance the productivity of our business. A qualified candidate would be someone who has previous experience with manual and CNC machining and someone who can effectively lead a project to its completion.

Administrative Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant at D&D, your role will be to help the Owner and Manager with tasks such as scheduling, reviewing, prioritizing and responding to emails, answering and returning phone calls; organizing documents; maintaining records; taking notes at meetings, and any other administrative tasks that help the Owner and Manager.

Sales Inside/Outside

The Sales Representative is responsible for overseeing the sale of products or services from beginning to end. This individual is the direct point of contact with a customer and in charge of ensuring a customer’s needs and expectations are met. A sales representative should know their product or service inside and out and guide their customers through the purchase process efficiently and satisfactorily.

General Laborers

General Laborers are responsible for various manual tasks such as unloading and loading parts materials, aiding in daily operations. The duties may be carried out manually or with the use of machinery and special equipment such as forklifts, welding machines, drills, power tools, and pressure washers. 

Mechanical Drafters

Our Mechanical Drafters prepare detailed layouts for a wide variety of machinery and mechanical tools and devises. These layouts indicate requirements needed for assembly. Although much of the time will be spent working on computers in an office, there will be daily collaboration with machinist and visits to jobsites to collaborate with architects and engineers.
